Hainanese (Singapore) Chicken Rice 海南鶏飯(シンガポールチキンライス)

This is Hainanese chicken rice. I know this isn't Japanese food, but I couldn't help writing about this as it's easy to cook!! I made the rice as follows:
  • Massage salt into chicken.
  • Put rice, salt, chopped garlic, chicken stock powder, and the chicken on top in a rice cooker. 
  • Turn on the cooker. Choose the normal (i.e., white rice) setting. 
  • When the rice is finished cooking, take the chicken out and slice it.
  • Put the rice and sliced chicken on a plate and add vegetables. 
One of my rules for cooking is to use only the ingredients in the fridge without buying additionally. I wanted to mix ginger in the rice and add sliced cucumbers next to the tomatoes, but neither was in the fridge.

海南鶏飯です。作り方はいつものように簡単。米、塩、ニンニク、鶏がらスープの素と、塩もみした鶏肉を炊飯器で炊くだけです。私のモットーは冷蔵庫にあるもので作ること。なので今回は生姜なし、キュウリも添えられませんでした。でもおいしかったで~す😋
