Bitter Gourd & Onion Salad ゴーヤタマネギサラダ

I usually stir fry bitter gourds with tofu, pork and eggs, so this time I made a salad. The only key point to note is to make the gourd less bitter. As usual, it's easy to make:
  • Cut a bitter gourd in half lengthwise, remove the inner part and thinly slice it.   
  • Rub gourd slices with salt, boil them quickly, and squeeze water out of them.
  • Thinly slice half of an onion, soak onion slices in water and squeeze water out of them.
  • Put the gourd and onion slices and canned tuna in a bowl and mix them well.
  • Season them with salt and pepper, a spoonful of lemon juice and a couple of spoonfuls of mayonnaise. 
You can add tomato slices to make the salad more colorful😀!

ゴーヤタマネギサラダです。苦いのが嫌な人は塩もみしてからさっとゆでてください。後はスライスしたタマネギとツナ缶とあえて、塩コショウ、レモン汁、マヨネーズで味付けするだけです。トマトを添えたら彩りがもっとよくなるかな😀。
